The quantitative relationship between non-linear stress-strain behaviour and dislocation structure in martensitic stainless steel

چکیده
The reversible behaviour of metals at low applied stresses is more complex than the generally assumed linear behaviour. This primarily because nature dislocation motion leading to a strain contribution known as anelasticity. work aims investigate (a) quantification structures in industrial grade stainless steels, (b) unloading behaviour, and (c) fundamentals mechanical occurring below yield stress. Mechanical testing martensitic steel (Stavax ESR) was performed two different modes: incremental plastic deformation cyclic loading-unloading stress with focus on measurement small strains corresponding stresses, pre-yield regime. non-linear quantitatively analysed, opposed common approximation an empirical determination apparent Young's modulus. recently proposed model has been refined and, for first time, successfully microstructure such steel. structure parameters shown be efficient alternative conventional experimental methods quantifying structure. Further, unique representation hysteresis provides insight into material Lastly, little studied microplasticity upon determined. Importantly, physical basis will allow deformations region, large enough significant processes.

Electrochemical Characterization of a Martensitic Stainless Steel
This paper focused on the characterization of electrochemical behavior of a martensitic stainless steel in the acidic solutions. For this purpose, electrochemical parameters were derived from potentiodynamic polarization, Mott Schottky analysis and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques. The potentiodynamic polarization results showed that corrosion current density of AISI 420 ...
متن کاملthe relationship between learners critical thinking ability and their performance in the reading sections of the tofel and ielts test
the study reflected in this thesis aims at finding out relationships between critical thinking (ct), and the reading sections of tofel and ielts tests. the study tries to find any relationships between the ct ability of students and their performance on reading tests of tofel and academic ielts. however, no research has ever been conducted to investigate the relationship between ct and the read...
15 صفحه اولThe Interaction between Hydrogen and Surface Stress in Stainless Steel
This paper reveals the interaction between hydrogen and surface stress in austenitic stainless steel by X-ray diffraction stress measurement and thermal desorption analysis before and after being charged with hydrogen. The surface residual stress was varied by surface finishing using several disc polishing agents. The obtained results show that the residual stress near surface had a significant...
